Dr. Dhaval Patel serves as the principal dentist at Prairie Dental and takes great pleasure in engaging with the community and patients. Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from India in 2009, Dr. Patel pursued a year of residency before establishing his roots in Edmonton, which he now calls home. Enhancing his professional journey, Dr. Patel relocated to Toronto to complete the NDEB Equivalency Process and successfully passed his NDEB Licensing exam. Driven by a commitment to the Alberta community, Dr. Patel chose to return to Edmonton, where he became a respected practitioner.
Beyond his dental practice, Dr. Patel actively volunteers in the community, providing free dental services at Homeless Connect since 2014. He holds memberships in several dental associations and is a certified Invisalign® provider. Notably, he recently concluded a successful mission trip to the Dominican in October 2021. In his personal life, Dr. Patel cherishes travel with his beloved wife, daughter and adorable puppy. His interests extend to playing golf and passionately cheering for the Edmonton Oilers.
